The process of injection blow molding is used for the production of hollow plastic objects in large quantities. In this process, the polymer is injected onto a core pin; then the core pin is rotated to a blow molding station to be inflated and cooled.
This is typically used to make containers for cosmetics and for other uses. The process is divided into three steps: injection, blowing and ejection.
With more than 60% renewable content, INZEA® product range for injection blow moulding, is an ecofriendly solution for manufacturers seaking for a sustainable material replacement.
Helping to reduce the fossil fuel raw material dependence, INZEA is the material of choice for biobased cosmetic containers.
INZEA is 100% compostable, all the products made of our biopolymers can achieve the OK compost certificate.
The OK Compost label warrantees compliance with EN13432, the European Standard for compostability in industrial composting facilities.
INZEA Biopolymers have been designed to be processed in the same conventional equipments for polyolefins.
When processing INZEA grades for injection blow moulding processing, a melting temperature of 190°C is recommended and the part of the mold must be cold.
